Brake pedal goes to floor when pressed and will not pump up

  1. Check the brake hydraulic fluid level and inspect the fluid lines and seals for leakage. Repair or replace leaking components, then bleed and flush the brake system using fresh brake fluid that meets the manufacturer's recommended standards.
  2. Check the brake fluid level. Inspect the brake fluid level and brake hydraulic seals. If the fluid level is ok, and the brake hydraulic system is free of hydraulic leaks, replace the brake master cylinder, then bleed and flush the brake system using fresh brake fluid that meets the manufacturer's recommended standards.

 

 

Remove the brake lines from the side of the master cylinder assembly.

 
Vacuum Brake Booster Removal

Remove the two nuts and bracket from the 2 master cylinder mounting studs.

 

Remove brake master cylinder.

Bench Bleed New master Cylinder as instruction indicate.

Install master cylinder in reverse order.

Bleed Brakes if master cylinder resivoir was empty when removed.

Test Operation
