I have a 1990 Ford F150. The fuel pump runs when hard wired to battery, so is not getting fire to the pump

If you do not have power to the relay , but you do have power to the fuse. Check to see if it has a rollover/cutoff switch. It should be listed in the owners manual with the location.( usually inside passenger kick panel).
