hi i have just built an 1998 camaro engine with the v6 3.8 series 2 engine and i dont have oil pressure when i turn the motor over no plugs or coil wires pan full of oil. i need to know what to do i have not started the engine yet because i am afraid it wont build pressure and lock up. this oil pump is the gear type in the front cover driven by the crank. i have the filter full of oil and have put a mech. gauge in the sender hole with no avail. should i go ahead and crank the engine and get pressure from the rpms or what?? lost need knowledge……..pdt81@YAHOO.COM THANKS IN ADVANCE<\/p>\n
