I THEN PUT IN A REBUILT TRANSMISSION. I SHOULD HAVE A BRAND NEW CAR RIGHT? WELL THE BATTERY ICON STAYS MOSTLY ON AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON THIS TIME 6 DAYS SINCE LAST CYLINDER # 4 CHANGED. It is always cylinder #4. I have done a compression check, I just don&#8217;t know what to do. The spark plug had some wet grit on it but showed\u00a0no signs of contact. I THEN GOT A DIFFERENT MOTORTHAT WAS TO MATCH MY 2002 MUSTANG GT CONVERTIBLE. BUT TURNS OUT IT TAKES 6 QTS OIL INSTEAD OF 5 QTS LIKE MY OLD MOTOR, WELL THEN PUT A REBUILT TRASMISSION IN WHICH I HAD DONE PREVIOUSLY, (HAD MY ORIGINAL REBUILT) DID NOT LAST A YEAR. SO THE #4 CYLINDER IS THE ONLY PLUG MISFIRING IN THE LAST YEAR AND A HALF. A PERSONAL FRIEND WHO WORKED YEARS AT FORD AND IS A DIESEL MECHCANIC DID ALL THE WORK FOR ME. HE HAS LEFT ME WITH NO ANSWER AS TO WHY THIS ONLY CYLINDER CAUSING THE MISFIRE. I HAVE A SMALL OIL LEAK IN ENGINE AND I HAVE BEEN TOLD A TRANSMISSION LEAK ALSO..
