RESPONSE<\/p>\n

No Recalls or Technical Service Bulletins<\/a> were found when searching for Turbo related issues.<\/p>\n

That is odd since the turbo works off the exhaust system. The Turbocharger may be going out.<\/p>\n

Turbo Charger Replacement<\/h2>\n

Removal & Installation<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Before servicing the vehicle.<\/li>\n
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.<\/li>\n
  3. Remove the center exhaust pipe.<\/li>\n
  4. Separate the turbo<\/strong>charger joint pipe from the turbo<\/strong>charger.<\/li>\n
  5. Disconnect the engine coolant hose from the coolant filler tank.<\/li>\n
  6. Loosen the clamp that attaches the turbo<\/strong>charger to the intake duct.<\/li>\n
  7. Remove the oil pipe-to-turbo<\/strong>charger bolt and remove the oil pipe from the turbo<\/strong>charger.<\/li>\n
  8. Remove the turbo<\/strong>charger bracket and disconnect the oil outlet hose from the pipe.<\/li>\n
  9. Remove the turbo<\/strong>charger.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    To install:<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Installation is the reverse of removal, please note the following torque specs:\n
        \n
      1. Turbo<\/strong>charger-to-intake duct: 2 ft. lbs. (2 Nm).<\/li>\n
      2. Oil pipe-to-turbo<\/strong>charger: 11 ft. lbs. (16 Nm).<\/li>\n
      3. Joint pipe-to-turbo<\/strong>charger using a new gasket: 22 ft. lbs. (30 Nm).<\/li>\n
      4. Turbo<\/strong>charger bracket: 24 ft. lbs. (33 Nm).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
