I have <a href=\"\/\/www.freeautomechanic.com\/battery.html\">battery<\/a> but my car won&#8217;t start what may be wrong?<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>RESPONSE<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"\/\/www.freeautomechanic.com\/nostart.html\">No Start Diagnostics<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If the engine does not crank &#8211; most likely reason would be the battery is weak from the <a href=\"\/\/www.freeautomechanic.com\/alternator.html\">alternator<\/a> not charging it. The engine was running off the battery by itself because the alternator was not charging it. Now the battery is probably to weak to start the engine or keep it running.
