No Replacement needed for fuel filter. It is an integral part of the fuel pump. No Cabin Air Filter to replace either.<\/p>\n
The fuel<\/span> system is a returnless on-demand design. The fuel<\/span> pressure regulator is a part of the fuel<\/span> sender assembly, eliminating the need for a return pipe from the engine. A returnless fuel<\/span> system reduces the internal temperature of the fuel<\/span> tank by not returning hot fuel<\/span> from the engine to the fuel<\/span> tank. Reducing the internal temperature of the fuel<\/span> tank results in lower evaporative emissions.<\/p>\n The fuel<\/span> tank stores the fuel<\/span> supply. An electric turbine style fuel<\/span> pump attaches to the fuel<\/span> sender assembly inside the fuel<\/span> tank. The fuel<\/span> pump supplies high pressure fuel<\/span> through the fuel<\/span> filter<\/span> contained in the fuel<\/span> sender assembly and the fuel<\/span> feed pipe to the Fuel<\/span> Injection System. The fuel<\/span> pump provides fuel<\/span> at a higher rate of flow than is needed by the fuel<\/span> injection system. The fuel<\/span> pump also supplies fuel<\/span> to a venturi pump located on the bottom of the fuel<\/span> sender assembly. The function of the venturi pump is to fill the fuel<\/span> sender assembly reservoir. The fuel<\/span> pressure regulator, a part of the fuel<\/span> sender assembly, maintains the correct fuel<\/span> pressure to the fuel<\/span> injection system. The fuel<\/span> pump and sender assembly contains a reverse flow check valve. The check valve and the fuel<\/span> pressure regulator maintain fuel<\/span> pressure in the fuel<\/span> feed pipe and the fuel<\/span> rail in order to prevent long cracking times.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
