Everything seemed to be fine until about a month ago my car started making a loud whistling sound when pressure was applied to the gas pedal. I dont know if that has anything to do with my car dying a few days ago or not. I was driving it and I noticed that the speed wasn&#8217;t matching the pressure I was applying to the gas. And then it died. I was low on gas at the time so I added gas and oil just to be sure and it wouldn&#8217;t start. I had a friend try to jump it and the engine turns over (it makes a clicking sound) but it still won&#8217;t turn on. Any ideas? Im desperate!<\/p>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>These Chrysler&#8217;s are known for the timing belt to break and take out the engine. If it sounds like the engine is spinning over a little easier than it used to, then most likely a busted timing belt. That would be the most common in my opinion. However there are many, many other reasons for the engine to not want to start.
