Without touching the wheels, see if one is particularly hot. This would be an indication to look for. Touching the wheel may cause you to get burned. Be careful. You may also want to put the vehicle on jack stands. Turn the steering wheel and see if anything is rubbing or causing the wheel from spinning freely.<\/p>\n<h3>Brake Caliper Removal<\/h3>\n<p><b>\u00a0WARNING: Do not use any fluid other than clean brake fluid meeting manufacturer&#8217;s specification. Additionally, do not use brake fluid that has been previously drained. Following these instructions will help prevent system contamination, brake component damage and the risk of serious personal injury.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>\u00a0WARNING: Carefully read cautionary information on product label. For EMERGENCY MEDICAL INFORMATION seek medical advice. In the USA or Canada on Ford\/Motorcraft products call: 1-800-959-3673. For additional information, consult the product Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) if available. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious personal injury.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>\u00a0CAUTION: Brake fluid is harmful to painted and plastic surfaces. If brake fluid is spilled onto a painted or plastic surface, immediately wash it with water.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>\u00a0CAUTION: Do not allow the brake fluid to come in contact with the adhesive backing on the brake pads. This may prevent the brake pad adhesive surface from bonding with the brake caliper. If brake fluid is spilled onto the brake pads new pads must be installed.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>\u00a0CAUTION: Use only specified brake parts cleaner. Use of other cleaners may leave a residue on the brake caliper preventing the brake pads adhesive surface from bonding with the brake caliper.<\/b><\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\">\n<li>Remove the brake pads. For additional information, refer to <a href=\"\/\/www.freeautomechanic.com\/brake-front-disc-brakes.html\">Brake Pads<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Disconnect the parking brake cable from the subframe bracket and the caliper.\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Position the parking brake cable aside.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>Clean and inspect the disc brake caliper.\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>If leaks or damaged boots are found, install a new disc brake caliper.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>Disconnect the brake tube fitting from the brake flexible hose.\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>To install, tighten to 17 Nm (13 lb-ft).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li><b>NOTE:<\/b> The brake caliper and brake flexible hose are removed as an assembly.Remove the retainer clip from the brake flexible hose.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li>To install, reverse the removal procedure.\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Bleed the caliper.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sometimes acts as though it does not want to move after coming to a stop and trying to turn left.
