Replace Air Conditioning Condenser<\/h3>\n

How long does it take to remove and replace the air conditioning<\/a> condenser? I was a mechanic for 9 years. And I understand that I will need to take the car to garage to get the gas refilled.<\/p>\n

I do not currently have access to that information. Is the Seat Ibiza similar to any other vehicles? This might allow me to cross reference them?<\/p>\n

On other compact cars it typically takes around 2 hours. Does include front bumper cover removal. Does not include the recharge time.<\/p>\n

Air Conditioning Condenser Replacement<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Recover the refrigerant.<\/li>\n
  2. Remove the air cleaner assembly.<\/li>\n
  3. Disconnect the radiator inlet and outlet hoses from the radiator.<\/li>\n
  4. Remove the engine coolant fan.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Nut (Qty:\u20091)<\/p>\n

    Procedure<\/h5>\n

    Disconnect the air conditioning compressor and condenser hose from the A\/C condenser.
    \nTighten: <\/strong>10\u2009Y (89\u2009lb\u2009in)<\/p>\n

    2. Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose Assembly Nut to Air Conditioning Condenser (Qty:\u20091)<\/p>\n

    Procedure<\/h5>\n

    Disconnect the air conditioning evaporator hose assembly from the A\/C condenser.
    \nTighten: <\/strong>10\u2009Y (89\u2009lb\u2009in)<\/p>\n

    3. Radiator Support Mounting Bolt (Qty:\u20094)<\/p>\n

    Tip:<\/em> Rotate the radiator support to tilt the radiator when removing the condenser.
    \nTighten: <\/strong>22\u2009Y (16\u2009lb\u2009ft)<\/p>\n
