I can hear the engine idle change when I shift but there is no feed back from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freeautomechanic.com\/transmission.html\">transmission<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<ol>\n<li>Check transmission fluid level &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freeautomechanic.com\/how-to-check-fluid-%20levels.html\">How to check fluid levels<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Check to make sure both axle shafts are present<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>If the fluid is burnt looking or low there may be internal damage.
