The original gasket was only the metal valley pan with no fiber gaskets used. When I go to install the manifold do I include the fiber gaskets? Gasket set is a Felpro # 1215<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Intake manifold gaskets and valley pan<\/h3>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-55057\" src=\"https:\/\/www.freeautomechanic.com\/mechanic\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/1964-chrysler-intake-tightening-sequence.jpg\" alt=\"intake manifold tightening sequence\" width=\"311\" height=\"215\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.freeautomechanic.com\/mechanic\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/1964-chrysler-intake-tightening-sequence.jpg 311w, https:\/\/www.freeautomechanic.com\/mechanic\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/1964-chrysler-intake-tightening-sequence-300x207.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 311px) 100vw, 311px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I would think the extra gaskets are there in case you had to mill the head or intake. If it is all original you may want to just use the valley pan and some good sealant. Coat the cylinder block seal surfaces with oil resistant sealer.
