It took me over 30 years as a mechanic before I first heard of a slosh module. So don’t fret if you haven’t heard of it. It is more of an anti-slosh module. The module is located in the back of the instrument panel in the dash board. It is a circuit board that dampens the signal from the fuel level sensor in the gas tank to the fuel gauge in your dash panel. If the module goes bad the fuel gauge needle will bounce around. It will even move around when you take a turn, climb a hill or brake.

Fix Ford Gas gauge the always reads empty – video

This video will show you how to bypass the anti-slosh module. Using a jumper wire and a piece of electrical tape this can be done in minutes.

Fix A Ford Gas Gauge That Always Reads Empty - The Anti Slosh Bypass

Watch this video on YouTube<meta itemprop="description" content="How to fix a Ford fuel gauge that always says empty and has the low fuel warning light on.
