Only you know your own skill level.<\/p>\n<h3>Code P0126 &#8211; Insufficient Coolant Temperature<\/h3>\n<div id=\"wrapper\">\n<div id=\"container\">\n<div id=\"content\">\n<div class=\"info\">\n<h2 class=\"code\">P0126 Description<\/h2>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freeautomechanic.com\/ect-engine-coolant-temperature.html\">Engine Coolant Temperature (<b>ECT<\/b>) sensor<\/a> is used to detect the engine coolant temperature. The sensor modifies a voltage signal from the Engine Control Module (<b>ECM<\/b>). The modified signal returns to the <b>ECM<\/b> as the engine coolant temperature input. The sensor uses a thermistor which is sensitive to the change in temperature.
