Now it&#8217;s doing it again. Will pulling it apart and adding silicone oil likely fix it, or did I just get a poor after market part, and I need to replace it again? \u00a0If you own a Tacoma, I highly suggest visiting the <a href=\"https:\/\/tacomabeast.com\/\">Tacoma Beast<\/a> website for all your replacement parts needs!<\/p>\n<p>Basically, my question is can being low on silicon oil cause a fan clutch to squeal? I created the video below to help assist in such an occasion. If you are certain the fan is at fault it doesn&#8217;t cost you anything but time to try something before replacing a part. I used WD40, Purchase Here: https:\/\/amzn.to\/3f6JOtT As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"lL\" style=\"max-width:100%;width:420px;margin:5px;\"><\/div><\/p>\n<h4>How to Replace Clutch Fan<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Removal &amp; Installation<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions.<\/li>\n<li>Disconnect the negative battery cable.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the engine undercover.<\/li>\n<li>Drain the cooling system.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the 2 bolts and the air pipe, as necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the upper radiator hose from the radiator.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the oil dipstick guide, by removing the bolt.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the power steering drive belt, by loosening the lock bolt and adjusting bolt to the idler pulley, if equipped with power steering.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the No. 2 fan shroud, by removing the 2 clips.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the No. 1 fan shroud, by removing the 4 bolts.<\/li>\n<li>Loosen the idler pulley nut and adjusting bolt and remove the air conditioning drive belt, if equipped with air conditioning.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the alternator drive belt, fan (with fan clutch), water pump pulley and the fan shroud.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\u25e6Stretch the belt and loosen the water pump pulley mounting nuts.<\/p>\n<p>\u25e6Loosen the lock, pivot and the adjusting bolts for the alternator.<\/p>\n<p>\u25e6Remove the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freeautomechanic.com\/alternator.html\">alternator<\/a> drive belt.<\/p>\n<p>\u25e6Remove the 4 water pump pulley mounting nuts.<\/p>\n<p>\u25e6Remove the fan (with fan clutch) and the water pump pulley.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To install:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Installation is the reverse of removal.<\/li>\n<li>Tighten the fan nuts to 16 ft. lbs.
