I am torn between a 2008 Honda Accord Sedan Manual Transmission with 133k miles on it for $2500 or a 2012 Mazda 6 automatic transmission with 108k miles, needs a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freeautomechanic.com\/hub-bearing-wheel-bearing.html\">wheel bearing<\/a> and there is a small crack in the back bumper for $2600. Both cars are from private sellers. What would you recommend? Thank you so much!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Condition and comfort would play a big role in it for me personally. At 20 years of age you will be spending quite a bit of time in the front seat. But lets suppose they both are equally as clean and comfortable as the other. The Honda tends to have a more reliable reputation. The Honda however is a stick shift and the Mazda is an automatic. In my 20&#8217;s I wouldn&#8217;t have cared and may have even preferred a stick shift. But as I have gotten older I prefer an automatic. So I would chose the Mazda for myself based on that. But the 2012 Mazda6 is one car that has a little bit of sportiness injected along with better looking lines and a Zoom Zoom attitude. The Mazda family resemblance is clearly there with the sharp headlights, high fenders, and sweeping body lines. The base price on the 2012 Mazda6 is &#36;20,480. The 2012 Mazda6 is powered by two different engine types. The first is a 2.5 liter 4-cylinder engine making 170 horsepower and 167 lb-ft. of torque. Fuel economy for this smaller engine is 22 MPG in the city and 31 MPG on the highway with the automatic transmission. The larger motor is a 3.7 liter V-6 engine producing 272 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. Fuel economy for this engine is 18 MPG in the city and 27 MPG on the highway. On the inside the Mazda6 has tons of room for the rear passengers. Up front is a good spot for someone who spends a lot of time behind the wheel. The trunk is deep and there is tons of cargo room. There are a handful of trims to choose from. But even the lower end models drive well and are nicely equipped. There are so many options out there in the mid-sized car buying segment.
