Stabilizer Bar Link Kit R&R<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Front<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caution: Suspension fasteners are critical parts because they affect performance of vital components and systems and their failure may result in major service expense. New parts must be installed with same part numbers or equivalent part, if replacement is necessary. Do not use a replacement part of lesser quality or substitute design. Torque values must be used as specified during reassembly to make sure of correct retention of these parts.<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Caution: Orientation of suspension fasteners is important. Make sure fasteners are installed in same direction as when removed or incorrect clamp load and damage to components may occur.<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Caution: The left hand and right hand side stabilizer bar bushings are different and are not interchangeable. Make sure bushings are installed on correct side or damage to bushings will occur.<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
1. Remove wheel and tire.
2. Remove and discard two stabilizer bar nuts and grommets.<\/strong>

3. Remove and discard two stabilizer bar studs.
4. Remove two stabilizer bar links.
5. Remove four stabilizer bar bracket bolts and stabilizer bar, and brackets and bushings. Discard bolts.
6. Remove two stabilizer bar bushings.<\/strong>

Tighten left hand side first. Inspect stabilizer bar bushings for wear or damage. Install new bushings as required. When installing left hand side sway bar bushings onto sway bar, match groove in bushing to upset on sway bar.
7. Reverse procedure to install, noting following:\u00a0
a.Torque<\/strong>, stabilizer bar bracket bolts to 55 Nm or 41 ft. lbs. at curb height.\u00a0
b.Torque<\/strong>, tighten new nuts to 35 Nm or 26 ft. lbs. at curb height.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
