The mechanic said it&#8217;s good til -32, but the wrong color.<br \/><br \/>ALSO:  Will 200 hp V6 pull 2100 lbs boat.  (It&#8217;s says 3500 lbs), but feels a little weird pulling it.  maybe I&#8217;m just not used to it yet<br \/><br \/>Thank you<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-wrong-color-anti-freeze\">Wrong Color Anti-Freeze<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As it turns out your vehicle requires DEX-COOL anti-freeze\/coolant. DEX-COOL is typically orange in color and should not be mixed with Green anti-freeze. Using the wrong anti-freeze will result in internal cooling system gasket failure. Back in December of 2007 GM lost a DEX-COOL class action lawsuit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>From the Manual:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"388\" height=\"252\" src=\"https:\/\/www.freeautomechanic.com\/mechanic\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/dexcool-warring.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-61190\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.freeautomechanic.com\/mechanic\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/dexcool-warring.jpg 388w, https:\/\/www.freeautomechanic.com\/mechanic\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/dexcool-warring-300x195.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 388px) 100vw, 388px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>As for the pulling a boat question, refer to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freeautomechanic.com\/free-car-owners-manual.html\">car owners manual<\/a> for towing capabilities. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What difference does it make if I have the wrong color antifreeze in this car?
