As for the overheating and filling the coolant reservoir I am thinking blown head gasket or stuck <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.freeautomechanic.com\/cooling-system-thermostat.html\">thermostat<\/a><\/strong> or Air pocket still in the system. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.freeautomechanic.com\/blown-head-gasket.html\">Blown Head Gasket Symptoms Explained<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Utilizing a fuel pressure gauge you can see if fuel is bleeding off pressure. A quick test you can try would be to cycle the ignition key &#8220;ON&#8221; and &#8220;OFF&#8221; holding in the &#8220;ON&#8221; position for 3 seconds. Do this 10 times and then move the ignition key to the &#8220;START&#8221; position. If it starts right off, you have confirmed it is a fuel related issue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As for the overheating coolant filling the reservoir issue. You can check you thermostat is opening by making sure the upper and lower radiator hoses are hott. To be certain of the exact temperature you can use an <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.freeautomechanic.com\/mechanic\/forum\/2020\/10\/use-an-infrared-temperature-gun-for-overheating-test\">Infrared Temperature Gun<\/a><\/strong>.
