I changed the temp sensor but has not got rid of the code i have wiped it off but comes back when the car is warm is there another sensor somewhere and info would be great thanks as I can&#8217;t find it! Is it by the radiator maybe?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>With the code description stating &#8220;temperature sensor 2&#8221; I would definitely think there is a temperature sensor 1 and a separate temperature sensor 2. Meaning there is more than one temperature sensor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After doing a bit of research I have found that the &#8220;temperature sensor 2&#8221; is generally located on or attached to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freeautomechanic.com\/cooling-system-radiator.html\">radiator<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-code-p2185-possible-causes\">Code P2185 Possible Causes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Low coolant level<\/li><li>Faulty Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor<\/li><li>Stuck or leaking thermostat<\/li><li>Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor harness is open or shorted<\/li><li>Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor circuit poor electrical connection<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>So I did a little more digging and found this video that points to the coolant temp sensor being inline in the Radiator hose.
