My wife’s car is using around 1ltr engine oil every 7 to 10 days. It is a Hyundai ix20 1.4 petrol.
Getting a little exhaust smoke on startup
Or when pulling away after sitting in traffic for a while.
Was thinking bad valve stem oil seals ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sounds about right if you don’t see an external leak. I would look where it parks and see if there isn’t a huge puddle. 1 ltr is a lot to loose in 7 – 10 days. Might even be a hole in a piston but would think the engine would have a miss on at least one cylinder.
