I close the Hvac blend door and the car still blow cold air  now in the winter,, I am in ny. I put enough anti freez in it&#8230;.. the AC over the summer blow cold air for a little while after I add freeon I bleed the air out but it goes back to hot over the summer<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the first things you will want to do is to feel the two heater hoses that connect to the heater core once the engine has had time to warm up to operating temperature. This will allow you to know a couple of things. If both hoses are hot, the thermostat is opening and the heater core is not clogged. If only one hose is hot, then the heater core is clogged. If neither of the hoses are hot, the thermostat is not opening. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.freeautomechanic.com\/cooling-system-engine.html\">Engine Cooling System<\/a><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This is assuming that the coolant level is full and there are no coolant leaks present. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-coolant-drain-flush-refill\">COOLANT DRAIN, FLUSH &amp; REFILL<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><br \/>Warning: Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.<br \/>Warning: Risk of injury to skin and eyes caused by scalding from contact with hot coolant spray.<br \/>Risk of poisoning if coolant is swallowed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Open engine hood.<\/li><li>Disconnect battery ground.<\/li><li>Open cooling system cap at coolant expansion reservoir.<\/li><li>Raise vehicle.<\/li><li>Remove lower engine compartment paneling.<\/li><li>Remove under ride guard.<\/li><li>Remove air deflector shield.<\/li><li>Push siphon hose onto radiator drain plug.<\/li><li>Open radiator drain plug and drain coolant.<\/li><li>Tighten radiator drain plug and disconnect drain hose from radiator drain plug.<\/li><li>Push siphon hose onto crankcase drain plug.<\/li><li>Open crankcase drain plug and drain coolant.<\/li><li>Flush cooling system with clean, drinkable water.<\/li><li>Tighten crankcase drain plug and disconnect drain hose from crankcase drain plug.<\/li><li>Lower vehicle.<\/li><li>Pour in coolant and bleed cooling system.<\/li><li>Inspect cooling system for leaks.<\/li><li>Install air baffle plate.<\/li><li>Install under ride guard.<\/li><li>Install lower engine compartment paneling.<\/li><li>Connect battery ground cable.<\/li><li>Perform basic programming.<\/li><li>Read out and erase the fault memory using Star Diagnosis or equivalent.<\/li><li>Close engine hood.<\/li><\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have a problem with my Mercedes-Benz, I can\u2019t figure out &#8230;.
