Thanks.much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>In this instance I would use an Infra-red temperature gun to check the temperature under the hood. You just aim at the coolant hoses, engine head and pull the trigger for an accurate reading of the actual temperature. This will let you know instantly if you actually have an overheating issue or if it is something else. Once you have confirmed it isn&#8217;t actually overheating you can concentrate on a faulty sensor or wiring issue. The warning indicates the possibility of damage and may lead to an accident.
