Years ago(late 60’s\/early 70’s) it was a not so common practice to add a little fuel to the engine oil. The engine was then run for no more than 15 minutes and then the oil was drained. It was said that this would keep the inside of your engine clean. The down side was when this was performed on an engine that had excessive build up inside. All the build up would come loose at once and clog up the oil pump sump. And then the oil pan would have to be removed. I wouldn’t suggest it.
