However, when we got home and went to back into the driveway a long squealing noise started.  The jeep barely would move.  Now it makes this noise in park and neutral.  Then it gets louder when going into drive or reverse.  It will only move about an inch in drive or reverse, and that will only happen if I push the gas pedal to the floor.  I am not sure what to look at? It is a 2017 Automatic Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited Winter Edition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Noises can be quite difficult to diagnose without hearing them. I will see what I can do to help though. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/freeautomechanic.com\/auto-repair.html\">How to diagnose a noise &#8211; Step by Step<\/a><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-squealing-noise\">Squealing Noise<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Generally I would think the park brake is set and not allowing the vehicle to move forward or reverse. However this would not explain the squealing noise. Now it could be that there are two separate things going on here. In that case it would be possible for the park brake to be set and for the drive belt to be squealing. A quick spray of WD-40 on the drive belt would be an easy way to eliminate that.
