I had power, afterwards no power no lights<br \/>Car won&#8217;t start<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Sounds like you left the door open too long and ran the battery down. Might have been a weak battery to begin with. And unfortunately, when you run a lead acid battery all the way flat it is difficult to get it to want to take a charge. You may need to replace the battery. The mirror uses Fuse 10 so I do not think there is an issue there. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An option would be to use a known good battery to test with. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.freeautomechanic.com\/nostart.html\">Step by step No Start diagnostic chart<\/a><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course there could be many different things to look at such as your battery connections, fuses(F18 &amp; F26), etc. But double checking your work is a great place to start once you have ruled out the battery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Did I mention BATTERY! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2014-ford-taurus-starting-wiring-diagram\">2014 Ford Taurus Starting Wiring Diagram<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.freeautomechanic.com\/mechanic\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/2014-ford-taurus-starting-system.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1068\" height=\"817\" src=\"https:\/\/www.freeautomechanic.com\/mechanic\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/2014-ford-taurus-starting-system.jpg\" alt=\"2014 ford Taurus starting system\" class=\"wp-image-79937\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ProcedureTitle\">EXTERIOR MIRROR<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>REMOVAL<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table is-style-regular\"><table><tbody><tr><td>Do not remove exterior mirror assembly when repairing an individual component. Individual components can be installed without removing exterior mirror.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td>1.Pull outward on sail panel to release retaining clips<strong>.<\/strong><br \/>2.Disconnect electrical connector, then remove sail panel.<br \/>3.Disconnect exterior mirror electrical connector.<br \/>4.Remove two exterior mirror nuts and bolt,\u00a0<strong>.<\/strong><br \/>5.Remove exterior mirror.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>INSTALLATION<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td>Reverse removal procedure to install.&nbsp;<strong>Torque<\/strong>&nbsp;exterior mirror nuts and bolt to 80 inch lbs.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Replaced right passenger mirror.Before replacing and connecting..
