Paddle shifter won’t work on my 2010 GMC Terrain slt 6cyl.. Whats the cause and repair?

The paddle shifter utilizes the up and down switches that sends signals to the body control module(BCM). Could be any part of the circuit. The switches, the BCM, the wiring harness or as simple as a fuse. Each will need to be checked to determine the exact cause before the repair can be made. Of course it would be great if it was just a blown fuse causing all the issues so be sure to check that first.
