I had my windshield replaced in my 1994 toyota camary xle 6 cyl. The windshield wiper motor also replaced, motor tested good now I have not working windshield wipers. The windshield wipers worked before having windshield replaced. Replaced windshield wiper motor and wipers still don’t work what could it be?
RESPONSE
Check for battery voltage going tot he wiper motor. If battery power is getting to the motor, replace the motor. If no battery voltage is found, trace the wiring and repair as needed. It could be as simple as the wiper fuse(20A) being blown. Use the wiring diagram provided to help assist you.
1. REMOVE WIPER ARMS
Remove 2 nuts and 2 wiper arms.
2. REMOVE COWL COVER
3.REMOVE WIPER MOTOR
(a) Disconnect the connector, then unfasten 4 bolts and remove the motor. (b) Disconnect the wiper link.
