No start issue with my 2001 Honda Civic

Honda Civic

The car cranks but doesnt start. Will start with a jump, but died on the street even after a jump. I have cleaned some corrosion off of the battery terminals, and checked for loose wiring, and using electrical tape for “iffy” wiring. Checked all of the fuses, and topped off all fluids (oil and radiator) . Not sure what else to do? Alternator? Starter? Starter solenoid? Could it be as simple as a loose wire or dirty air filter that I may have missed? Fuel injectors? Fuel filter? Lost.
Thanks in advance,
Alyssa

We have developed a step by step no start diagnostic chart for just this issue. Use it to help narrow down the root of the problem.

You can rule out the starter as it would not crank over if it was bad. If it just cranks over slowly then the battery is probably in need of replacement. More batteries go bad in the HEAT then during colder months. If the alternator is bad generally the battery light illuminates indicating it is not being charged.
