I have ilco HY15 key and it works perfectly when i went to get extra keys made they only had ilco HY15-P. My question is why will this new key not work at all?
Not sure. The HY15 key is a non-transponder key. Where as the HY15-P is a transponder key. So you would think the transponder key would work fine. And i would think the HY15 key wouldn’t work in place of the HY15-P as it requires a transponder.
It appears that according to the ilco Website that the HY15-P is the replacement needed for the HY15. So you would think it would work. At least that is what i found when looking it up on the cross reference page.
