Passenger window was not working, I thought it was a bad motor. Detached motor, and it just spins WITHOUT pressing buttons, however, if I press the button one was the motor stops until I let go of the button, then motor runs again, only in 1 direction. Is it a switch problem, OR, is it wired wrong? Thanks
The window motor should not run until the switch is activated. I will provide a wiring diagram for the passenger side window motor and switch circuit below. You can use this wiring diagram to assist in checking the circuit and switch. The motor should not receive battery positive unless the window switch is activated in that direction.
