Hi mate just wondering i have recent had a water pump change, now when I hard accelerate my makes 1 random click noise before picking up speed any idea what it could be thanks. It is a Seat Ibiza.
Not really sure off the top of my head. But if it didn’t do it before and now it does, I would take it back. Now if it was fine for the last 4 weeks and now its not it may be something different. It wouldn’t hurt to take it back to the mechanic and ask him to make sure it isn’t anything he worked on that might be under warranty.
Clutch?
I read my research that some of the vehicles that are equipped with a clutch may experience a clicking noise on hard acceleration. This is typically caused buy worn clutch parts and would require replacement.
