Started car this morning and was making off sound, turned key to shut off engine but starter would not disengage – started smoking and pulled fuel pump fuse to turn car off
Most likely the starter relay is sticking. Simple test would be to swao it for a like relay located in the relay box. For exact location you can refer to your owners manual and look under “fuses and relays”
