While sitting at a light my truck jerked really hard once, but ran perfect afterwards. A few days later while driving down the highway it kinda cut out again the same way and died. I haven’t been able to get it started since. The computer showed a malfunction in the ignition coil. They used a test coil and it fired up. After putting a new one in, it wouldn’t start. They tried the test coil again and it still wouldn’t start. Any ideas?

Sounds like a lose connection some where. This is going to be a tough one to locate. But starting with what is missing…either fuel or spark should narrow done the circuit to concentrate on and then its just a matter of pin pointing it. Consider it lucky that it doesn’t start at all now as this will help locate what is keeping it from running.
