1999 Ford Expedition Start Problems

While driving this morning the vehichle stoped.I looked under hood and it showed that the resovoir was empty even though it didn’t give any signs of overheating. I replaced the thermostat and top hose. Now it sounds like it is trying to start but not getting any gas. What could be the problem?

Could be a bad sensor, out of gas!!! no spark, no fuel , bad fuel pump, etc.

You will need to see if it is getting spark and or fuel. Scan for any stored codes and proceed from there.

Thermostat won’t keep it from starting, if you are thinking you blew a head gasket, you can perform a compression test to see if you have a loss of compression in each cylinder. All cylinders should be with in 20 psi of each other.
