having trouble figuring what coil goes were if they got there own spots. troubleshooting misfire and need ignition coils order?

  1. All the coils are the same, they can be put on any cylinder. The easiest way to determine which one is bad is to wait till the check engine light comes on. Then the code is stored and can be read with a scan toll. Autozone will read it for you for free. Then you just replace that coil. The order of cylinders is 1-2-3-4 starting on the passenger side and going to the back and then 5-6-7-8 starting on the drivers side and going toward the back.
