There are two very common reasons for your Air Conditioning to be blowing out hot air.
One would be caused by low freon in the system which does not allow the compressor to kick on. Of the compressor is running then this would not be the reason.
The other common reason is the Blend door(HOT/COLD) Actuator is not moving. If you see your Air Conditioning Compressor is cycling properly and the line going into the dash is cold to touch then this would be the most common cause.
