No spark to plugs. Magneto is working very good. Do I need older technology plug wires that may have solid wire to carry current to spark plugs ? I fear the powerful magneto may be lossing current in newer technology plug wires.

You should be able to use a multi-meter and check for resistance on the wires to see if they are bad. Should not see greater than .05 on the meter.
New wires can be bad right out of the package,,,
