I have a “mechanic ??” who says that outdoor rodents and squirrels chew the electrical wires of my truck. If that is true, why do they prefer my truck, a Black Chevrolet, but not a Honda Civic, a Ford Sable, and a Red Ford Truck? Is there even a remote chance that this can happen? Thanks!

Yes it can happen. I have found many nuts stashed. Mice remnants. And even chewed wiring. Usually happens to vehicles that set for longer periods than others or a warm engine during the winter months.
