This is an extremely common affair with Jeep’s 4.0L engine. Nothing to worry about, just annoying. It is cause by the lifters no longer able to pump up completely. Unless you notice a drive-ability issue, I would not be to concerned with it. It will continue to make that tick noise for however you own it and will not be any less reliable because of it.
