Toyota corolla 2000 1.4 hatchback

When I got my car, check engine light was always on. Car passed car test with it on but started blinking. Is this a major issue?

  1. YES! any time the check engine light flashes, you should discontinue driving it until you can get in to the shop and get it repaired. Continuing to drive it may cause permanent damage according to the vehicle manufacturer.

If you are able to pull the check engine light codes, post them below in the comments and we will help assist you on what to do next. If you have an Autozone near by, they will pull the codes for you at no cost.
