pcm fuse keeps blowing

my pcm fuse keep blowing . when i replace it the car wont turn over. someone told me to ground the pcm to the battery .it will start but only for a second then quit and blows the fuse again . is the pcm bad

  1. Sounds like there is a short and by direct grounding the tot he battery gives it just enough to start before it blows the fuse again. Isolate the wires from the pcm and use a multi-meter to check continuity and locate the shorted wire.

    If you could let me in on what Year, make and model you have, I may be able to provide you with a wiring diagram.
