Sounds like the instrument cluster itself is having an issue. You can try to reset it by disconnecting the battery for a minute and reconnecting it. Do this 5 times. If this does not do it, you may need to send the instrument cluster out to be repaired. (this is a common issue with the Chevy trucks)
