05 f150 v8

do I take the same chance of my plugs breaking off again, if I will be changing them out for the 2nd time, or should it be easier.

Breaking off or stripping out the threads?

Hopefully you applied a small amount of anti-seize to the outside of the threads when you installed the plugs the last time, if you didn’t … then yes, same risk.

It is common for them to strip out. Not so common for them to break off. To help minimize stripping out the threads, remove the plugs when the engine is cooled down. Metal tends to expand when heated and aluminum has the ability to cool faster making it a tighter fit on the plug until the plug and head assembly reach a similar temperature. And apply a touch of anti-seize when installing the new plugs. This will help the next go around.
