Not aware of a solenoid being involved with the Brake System. A wheel cylinder maybe. What solenoid was replaced? Either way, a brake line should not blow unless it is rusted out. In the case of a brake line being rusty and blowing, it was going to happen anyway. Rusty brake lines break/blow. The vehicle is over 20 years old, it is likely that rust was the cause.
