sometimes my windows don’t work i’ve checked the fuse the relay the motors,the swiches,all is good but if i hit the steering wheel sometimes they start working i was wondering can it be in the ignition. because they don’t get power with out the ignition being on and thats the side i hit to get it to work..

Anything is possible. However I would take the time to check for battery voltage getting tot he window switch and motor the next time they do not want to go. If you see battery voltage at the motor, replace the motor. If you see power at the switch but not leaving the switch to the motor, replace the switch. No power to the switch but have power at the fuse…. repair the wiring, most likely broken at or near the drivers door jam(common on older vehicles).

the problem was found the 95 explorer was found to have a window relay under the dash it was not working..
