My 2006 Mazda 3 S Grand Touring has DVD navigation system. Was wondering if I could use navigation screen for video playback with a separate head unit.

I would think if you could figure out the wiring that it would work. Might turn out to be ore work than its worth but if it is what you want to do, go for it. There are many aftermarket options available along with factory OEM options. Check out Amazon for some awesome deals.
