I just changed my brakes. When I started it up, when I was done, I got a service brakes message. What should I do?
You may want to check you brake fluid level first before clearing the message. Make sure the level is above the minimum level.
Service Brakes Message
If a problem occurs with the brake system, this message will appear on the DIC. If this message appears, stop as soon as possible and turn off the vehicle. Restart the vehicle and check for the message on the DIC display. If the message is still displayed, or appears again when you begin driving, the brake system needs service. Pressing the select button will acknowledge this message and clear it from the DIC display.
