AC blowing lightly cool, air blowing through all vents. Selector switch position makes no difference whatsoever. Blender actuator working fine.
My 2000 Monte has stopped working. Had a schrader valve go out. Replaced the valve, charged the system. AC is blowing through all three vents at the same time. Blender door actuator inside left of glove box opening working perfectly. What should I check next?
First off, this system uses both vacuum actuators and electronic actuators. The actuators for the selector switch may have lost there vacuum. This may be from not being hooked back up properly if disconnected. The vacuum hoses connect at the back of the control head in the dash. The hoses may also have gotten brittle and cracked. look for these signs when checking them out. Lastly, use the provided vacuum diagram below to gain a better perspective on how the system works.
