This question is not specific to any car. i just wanna know the safest way to air out a stinky gasoline portable container (5 gallon gerry can)
Gas Can
I do not know. I would think purchase a New unused one would be the safest. As for just airing it out, that is a good question. Maybe the local Fire Department might be able to give you the SAFEST way.
There are some forms of venting products available to make it easier to air out the gas can. It looks like you simple install it in place of the original.
